For a number of years Family Life have been developing an innovative project to measure the impact and real value of family and community strengthening services – a Community Impact Statement.
To prove that prevention and early intervention is cost effective.
To prove that investing in services that prevent and reduce high cost social problems is a good investment.
What is the aim?
To create a robust evidence-base and compelling argument for services that strengthen families and communities.
It’s unique and it makes sense. What is it about?
Family Life, in partnership with Centacare Broken Bay NSW and Anglicare WA, has developed a process for community agencies to integrate evaluation and outcomes-measurement with Social Return on investment (SROI) methodology.
The Community Impact Statement innovation continues to evolve as we apply new knowledge and increase our understanding.
We look forward to updating this page in the near future.
