Family Life provides relationship counselling for individuals, couples and children at all stages of the relationship cycle. Counselling available for men and women includes family strengthening, pre and post separation, exploring family violence, grief and loss, becoming new parents, parenting issues and managing children’s behaviour.
In 2015 Family Life is piloting a relationship reconciliation program for couples where one or both partners is considering divorce or separation. To find out more about free participation in this pilot click here.

Assistance is available for individuals, couples, families and communities, regardless of race, religion, sexuality and economic circumstances, to achieve and maintain positive relationships whether or not the family resides together.
If there is Family violence, counsellors will discuss and explore the immediate issues and assist individuals to make appropriate decisions including the impact on any children and developing safety plans. If appropriate counsellors can proceed with counselling or arrange family assessments for individuals or couples.
Fees are charged on a sliding scale based on income however clients will not be excluded due to financial hardship.
Counselling is available at all Family Life service centres including after hours appointments.
Family Life Family and Relationship Services (FaRs) is funded by the Australian Government to provide Relationship Counselling to Bayside, Inner Middle South, Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Communities.
