Manage your family relationships with counselling

Family relationships aren’t always easy to manage, and sometimes a little support can really help you and your loved ones get back to a good place. Family Life’s counselling service provides a space where you can work through problems and concerns openly and without judgement.

Whether you’re struggling to agree on parental responsibilities, having trouble connecting with your partner or spouse, or need help communicating with your child, talking about these challenges can help you find positive solutions.

How do I know if counselling is for my family?

Family counselling is highly inclusive and beneficial to a wide range of people. You can try it at any time, but the earlier you see a counsellor, the better the chances of resolving issues.

Family counselling is great for couples who have children and are:

  • Married or about to get married
  • Separated or in the process of separation
  • In a de-facto relationship
  • In a blended family

If you don’t fit any of the above, don’t worry. Our family counsellors offer flexible services that can accomodate most situations.

How can my family benefit?

Keeping relationships on track isn’t easy, and you can benefit your family by seeking help. Our family counselling services can show you how your family can deal with life’s challenges by giving you tools and strategies tailored to your situation.

Even after separation, counselling can ensure strong, positive family relationships. You will receive information and guidance depending on your circumstances, which may help you build new relationships and a new future.
